You are never obliged to sign up: the site is yours and runs without me. But if you would rather not think about it, here is what a monthly contract covers.

Hosting in France, security certificate, daily backup kept for 30 days, technical updates, uptime monitoring. Restore if anything goes wrong.

Everything above, plus one hour of changes a month (text, photos, prices, a new page) and a quarterly review of your visitor numbers and incoming enquiries.

05 Common questions
Two to three weeks for a one-page site, four to six for a brochure site, longer for a custom build. What stretches deadlines most is not the development but waiting on text and photos: prepare them in advance and everything moves faster.
No. Copywriting is available as an add-on, and I tell you which photos to take, from what angle and with what framing. For professional shots I work with local photographers, or use royalty-free stock in the meantime.
Yes, on the Brochure and Custom packages: an admin interface lets you change text, photos and prices, and add pages. The one-hour handover is included, and you leave with a written guide made for your site.
You do. The domain is registered in your name, hosting can sit on your own account, and the source code is handed over. Nothing is held hostage.
30% on signing the quote, the balance when the site goes live. Above €4,000 the payment can be split into three or four instalments. Proper invoice, VAT according to the applicable scheme.
Two rounds of adjustments are built into the mockup stage, before any development. If the direction still does not suit you after that, the project stops there: only the deposit is owed, and you do not pay for a build you will not get.
You introduce me to someone, the project gets signed, and you receive 10% of the amount before tax, capped at €500. Paid when the quote is signed, not on delivery — you don't wait for the project to finish. No limit on how many people you can introduce, and nothing to do beyond the introduction. On a €1,590 brochure site that comes to €159; the €500 cap is reached on projects from €5,000 upwards. Full scale and referral form.

The technical groundwork is always there: clean structure, speed, tags, structured data, business profile. That puts you in a position to be found, but nobody can guarantee a top spot: ranking depends on your competition and on what you publish afterwards. Be wary of anyone who promises otherwise.
